Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team for contracts in the Leeds area. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction painting and possess excellent communication skills. This role involves preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring high-quality finishes on various projects. The successful applicant will be detail-oriented and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Duties

Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes as necessary Mix and match paint colours to achieve desired results Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment Ensure that all work is completed to a high standard of quality and in accordance with project specifications Maintain tools and equipment in good working order Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding project progress and any issues that may arise

Experience

Proven experience in construction painting is essential Ability to drive and transport materials or tools as needed Proficiency in English for effective communication with clients and team members Strong communication skills to collaborate with others and provide updates on project status
