Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering high-quality finishes on various surfaces. As a Painter, you will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring that all work meets our high standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or cracks. Mix paints and stains to achieve desired colours and finishes. Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment. Ensure that all work is completed in accordance with safety regulations and company standards. Maintain tools and equipment in good working order. Collaborate with other team members to ensure projects are completed on time and to specification. Conduct touch-ups and repairs as necessary to maintain the quality of finished work.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Painter or in a similar role is preferred. Strong attention to detail and an eye for aesthetics. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Familiarity with various painting techniques and materials. Good physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials when required. Knowledge of safety protocols related to painting tasks is advantageous.
