We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering high-quality work. As a Painter, you will be responsible for preparing surfaces, mixing paints, and applying finishes to various products, from concrete drums, to mortar silos to lorry bodies. The role requires effective communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Responsibilities
Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or cracks.
Mix paints and other finishes according to specifications.
Apply paint, using primarily spray equipment.
Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in accordance with safety regulations.
Maintain tools and equipment in good working order.
Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding project requirements and progress.
Adhere to timelines and project schedules while maintaining quality workmanship.
Experience
Proven experience in painting or a related field is essential
Experience in painting similar products or in the engineering field would be preferred.
Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
A valid driver's licence is advantageous.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
