Responsibilities
Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or cracks.
Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
Read blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements and specifications. .
Execute restoration work on various surfaces including wood, drywall, and concrete.
Collaborate with other tradespeople on renovation projects to ensure cohesive results.
Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, including power tools and airless paint sprayers.
Follow safety protocols on construction sites to ensure a safe working environment.
Experience
Proven experience in residential and commercial painting projects.
Experience with hand tools, power tools, and industrial painting techniques.
Previous maintenance person experience or construction site experience is advantageous.
