The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both residential and commercial painting, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering high-quality finishes. This role involves preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring that all work meets our high standards of quality and client satisfaction. Must have own tools and transport

Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or cracks. Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment. Read blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements and specifications. . Execute restoration work on various surfaces including wood, drywall, and concrete. Collaborate with other tradespeople on renovation projects to ensure cohesive results. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, including power tools and airless paint sprayers. Follow safety protocols on construction sites to ensure a safe working environment.

Experience

Proven experience in residential and commercial painting projects. Experience with hand tools, power tools, and industrial painting techniques. Previous maintenance person experience or construction site experience is advantageous. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team on various renovation projects.
