Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a relevant experience in painting and a keen eye for detail. This role involves preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring a high-quality finish on various projects. The Painter will be responsible for both interior and exterior work, contributing to the overall aesthetic and maintenance of properties.

Duties

Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or imperfections. Mix and match paint colours to achieve desired shades and finishes. Apply paint using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment with precision and care. Ensure all work is completed to a high standard, adhering to safety protocols and regulations. Communicate effectively with team members and clients to understand project requirements and timelines. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, reporting any issues as necessary. Drive to various job sites as required, ensuring timely arrival and completion of tasks.

Experience

Proven experience in painting roles is preferred but not essential; willingness to learn is key. Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. Experience driving is an advantage for travelling between job sites. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering quality workmanship. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
