Overview


We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in both residential and commercial painting, with a strong understanding of color theory and construction practices. This role requires attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality finishes on various projects, including renovations, restorations, and new constructions. Must have own tools and transport

Duties



Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primer as needed. Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project requirements. Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites to ensure timely project completion. Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols.

Skills



Proficiency in construction estimating and basic math for project calculations. Knowledge of color theory and techniques for achieving desired finishes. Experience in residential painting, commercial painting, industrial painting, and construction painting. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and airless paint spraying methods. Strong understanding of construction site experience including safety regulations. Skills in reading blueprints and schematics for effective project execution. Capable of performing filling, caulking and sanding as needed. Pay: 19.00 per hour
