Position Overview

Reporting to the Production Coordinator you will be working within a small team ensuring work that is allocated via schedules is completed in a timely, safe and efficient timescale.

Responsibilities

The willingness and enthusiasm to use initiative in a demanding and challenging environment. Good communication skills on a variety of levels as the role will involve liaising with other departments within the business. In this role you would be required to build new/repair a variety of wooden/metal cases using machinery such as panel, crosscut, rip and band saws. Plastic welding maintenance duties on relevant containers, training provided if necessary.

Requirements

Paint processing experience (spray & brush) essential, surface preparation, masking work and applying paint products to specifications. The ability to read drawings and surveys, interpret and understand bill of materials and complete works instructions with minimum supervision. Experience in using hand tools is essential for a variety of materials. Good communication skills as will involve liaising within internal customers. This role is on a day shift. Any essential training will be provided.
