Overview

We are seeking a skilled Painter & Decorator to join our team, contributing to a variety of commercial projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in painting and decorating to a high standard, with a keen eye for detail and colour. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, ensuring high-quality finishes that meet owner expectations. Applicants must possess good communication skills and a valid driving licence to facilitate travel between sites.

Duties

Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and applying primers to ensure optimal paint adhesion Apply paints, varnishes, wallpapers, and other finishes with precision and care Interpret project specifications to achieve desired results Collaborate with owners to discuss project requirements and progress Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to health and safety regulations Manage time effectively to complete projects within designated deadlines Assist with colour selection and provide advice on decorating options when required

Qualifications

Proven experience in painting and decorating Good command of English language, both spoken and written Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and team members Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Organised with excellent attention to detail to deliver high-quality finishes Knowledge of health and safety standards relevant to painting and decorating roles

Pay: Up to 29,000.00 per year
