Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Painter & Decorator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction painting and a keen eye for detail. This role involves preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring high-quality finishes on various projects. Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team are essential.

Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes to ensure a smooth finish. Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment. Maintain tools and equipment in good working order. Follow health and safety regulations while working on-site. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide updates on project progress. Collaborate with other tradespeople as necessary to complete projects efficiently.

Experience

Proven experience in construction painting is highly desirable. A valid driving licence is preferred for travel to various job sites. Proficiency in English is required for effective communication with clients and team members. Strong communication skills to liaise with clients and understand their requirements clearly.
