As a Painter/Decorator, you will bring spaces to life with your artistic touch and technical expertise! You'll be responsible for transforming both residential and commercial environments through high-quality painting and decorating techniques. Your role will involve working on various projects, from new constructions to renovations, ensuring that every detail is executed with precision and flair. What you'll do



Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primers as needed. Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or airless paint spraying equipment. Execute decorative techniques such as plastering and stucco application to enhance aesthetic appeal. Read blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements and specifications. Collaborate with clients to select color schemes and finishes that align with their vision. Perform maintenance tasks including caulking, trim carpentry, and fixture installation to ensure quality results. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely while adhering to construction site protocols. Conduct restoration work on existing structures to preserve their beauty and integrity.

Basic qualifications



Proven experience in residential and commercial painting projects. Strong knowledge of color theory and its application in design. Familiarity with construction estimating processes to assess project needs accurately.

Preferred qualifications



Experience in construction site environments with a solid understanding of safety practices. Proficiency in carpentry skills including frame carpentry and concrete finishing. Background in masonry work or industrial painting techniques is a plus. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to projects.
