Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Painter & Decorator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for detail and a passion for transforming spaces through colour and design. This role involves preparing surfaces, applying paint and finishes, and ensuring high-quality workmanship in both residential and commercial projects. The successful applicant will be able to communicate effectively with clients and team members, ensuring that all expectations are met.

Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes as necessary Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment Mix paints and match colours to achieve desired effects Ensure all work is completed to a high standard of quality and within deadlines Maintain tools and equipment in good working order Communicate with clients to understand their needs and provide updates on project progress Drive to various job sites as required

Experience

Proven experience in painting and decorating is preferred Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing A valid driving licence is essential for travelling to different locations Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 100.00-190.00 per day

Work Location: In person
