We are seeking a skilled Painter & Decorator to join our team, responsible for delivering high-quality painting and decorating services across various residential and commercial projects. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and a strong work ethic. A valid driving licence is essential for this position to facilitate travel between sites.

Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and applying primers to ensure optimal paint adhesion. Apply paints, varnishes, wallpapers, and other finishes with accuracy and attention to detail. Use a variety of tools and equipment including brushes, rollers, spray guns, and scaffolding. Follow project specifications and safety guidelines diligently to deliver quality results within deadlines. Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure expectations are met or exceeded. Maintain a clean and organised work environment, ensuring tools and materials are stored safely after each job. Assist in colour matching and selecting appropriate finishes based on client preferences or project requirements.

Experience

Proven experience in construction painting or decorating is highly desirable. Familiarity with different types of paints, wallpapers, and decorative finishes. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to liaise effectively with clients and team members. Valid driving licence is required to travel between multiple sites efficiently. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to painting and decorating activities. Pay: 14.00-20.00 per hour
