Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Painter & Decorator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction painting and possess excellent communication skills. This role involves transforming spaces through high-quality painting and decorating, ensuring customer satisfaction while adhering to safety standards.

Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and priming as necessary. Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes to a variety of surfaces using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment. Measure and cut materials accurately for decorating projects. Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and provide expert advice on colour schemes and finishes. Ensure all work is completed to a high standard within agreed timelines. Maintain tools and equipment in good working order, reporting any issues promptly. Follow health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment. Drive to various job sites as required, ensuring timely arrival and efficient work execution.

Qualifications

Proven experience in construction painting and decorating is essential. A valid driving licence is required for travel between job sites. Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality workmanship. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
