Overview

We are seeking a skilled Painter & Decorator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction painting and possess excellent communication skills. This role involves working on various projects, ensuring high-quality finishes.

Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or cracks Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment Select and mix colours to achieve desired effects Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in accordance with health and safety regulations Communicate effectively with our Site Agent to understand their requirements and provide updates on project progress Maintain tools and equipment in good working order Collaborate with other tradespeople as required on construction sites

Requirements

Proven experience in construction painting and decorating Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Attention to detail with a commitment to delivering quality workmanship Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to painting and decorating
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 14.00-16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 45 per week
