Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Painter & Decorator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction painting and possess excellent communication skills. This role involves working on various projects, ensuring high-quality finishes and attention to detail in every task undertaken.

Duties

Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes as necessary. Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment. MUST BE ABLE TO PAPER HANG Ensure that all work is completed to a high standard and in accordance with project specifications. Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and provide expert advice on colour schemes and finishes. Maintain tools and equipment in good working order, ensuring safety standards are met at all times. Drive to various job sites as required, ensuring timely arrival and completion of tasks.

Skills

Proficient in construction painting techniques with a keen eye for detail. Strong communication skills in English to effectively liaise with clients and team members. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating good interpersonal skills. A valid driving licence is preferred for travel to different locations.
