Overview

We are seeking a skilled Painter & Decorator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction painting and possess excellent communication skills. This role involves transforming spaces through the application of paint, wallpaper, and other finishes, ensuring high standards of quality and craftsmanship.

Duties

Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes as necessary Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment Hang wallpaper and apply decorative finishes to walls and ceilings Ensure all work is completed to a high standard within agreed timelines Maintain tools and equipment in good working order Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and preferences Follow health and safety regulations at all times

Qualifications

Proven experience in construction painting is essential Strong driving skills with a valid driving licence preferred Proficiency in English for effective communication with clients and team members Excellent communication skills to liaise with clients and understand project requirements Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality workmanship
