Overview

We are seeking a skilled Painter & Decorator to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction painting and demonstrate excellent communication skills. This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to quality workmanship, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. A valid driving licence is essential for this position, as you will be required to travel to various job sites.

Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or imperfections. Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment. Measure and cut materials accurately to ensure a perfect fit for each project. Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and provide expert advice on colour selection and design options. Maintain a clean and organised work environment throughout the duration of each project. Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations while working on-site. Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding project progress and any issues that may arise.

Requirements

Proven experience in construction painting or a related field is preferred. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written. A valid driving licence is required for travel between job sites. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results. Knowledge of different painting techniques and materials is advantageous.
