We are seeking professional Painter & Decorators to work on a large social housing contract based in Winchester. This energetic professional will be responsible for transforming interiors and exteriors. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail, a proactive attitude, and the ability to handle a variety of tasks to ensure a quality finish of work. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity with continuous work.

Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, filling holes, and applying primer to ensure optimal paint adhesion. Apply paints, stains, varnishes, and wallpapers with skill and precision to achieve high-quality finishes. Assist with decorating projects by selecting appropriate materials. Ensure all work areas are clean, organized, and safe during and after project completion.

Requirements

Proven experience in painting, decorating, and general tasks with a portfolio of completed projects preferred. Knowledge of safety procedures related to painting troubleshooting. Strong attention to detail with an eye for quality craftsmanship. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt quickly to different tasks or environments. Must be willing to wear correct PPE at all times
