Assist in preparing surfaces for painting and decorating (e.g., sanding, filling, priming).
Apply a range of decorative finishes using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment.
Measure and cut wallpaper and other wall coverings.
Learn and follow health and safety protocols on-site.
Keep the work area clean, tidy, and organized.
Load, unload, and maintain painting and decorating tools and equipment.
Work both independently and as part of a team on domestic, commercial, and industrial projects.
Attend training sessions and complete all coursework related to the apprenticeship.
