Overview

We are seeking a skilled Pallet and packaging case Maker to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for constructing durable pallets and cases to meet production requirements, ensuring safety and quality standards are maintained. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in pallet and case assembly to utilise their technical skills in a dynamic environment.

Duties

Construct and assemble pallets using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication techniques Measure and cut materials accurately to specified dimensions Operate machinery safely and efficiently to produce high-quality pallets Perform heavy lifting of timber and other materials to facilitate pallet assembly Inspect finished pallets for defects and ensure they meet quality standards Maintain a clean and organised workspace to promote safety and efficiency Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and optimise workflow

Requirements

Proven experience in pallet and packaging case assembly Mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools and power tools are essential Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow specifications precisely Good organisational skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team Prior experience with pallet making or similar manufacturing processes is essential
