Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Pallet Network Depot Manager to join our team at Evans Transport Ltd at our Caldicot site. This pivotal role will oversee depot operations, ensuring efficient logistics and transport services that align with our mission of delivering exceptional service to our clients in the construction sector.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations of the depot, ensuring compliance with company policies and safety regulations. Manage and lead a team of staff, fostering a positive work environment. Coordinate logistics and transportation activities to optimize efficiency. Maintain inventory management systems for warehousing solutions. Liaise with clients to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. Develop and implement operational strategies to improve performance. Monitor financial performance and manage budgets effectively. Ensure all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.

Qualifications

Proven experience in management within the logistics or transport industry. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Knowledge of supply chain processes is advantageous. Customer service-oriented mindset.
