Pallet Network Outbound Administrator
to join our energetic transport office.
This is more than just a desk job--you'll be the pivotal person ensuring our outbound freight operation runs smoothly, on time, and in full compliance with the Pallet Network Charter.
The Details
Salary:
Starting at 28,000 per annum, with a performance review after 6 months.
Schedule:
Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Shift:
10:30 AM to 7:30 PM
(including a one-hour lunch break).
Location:
In-person at our depot Manchester (with on-site parking).

What You'll Be Doing: The Core of the Role
You will be the central administrator for all freight assigned to our Pallet Network outbound trunks, driving efficiency and compliance. Your key responsibilities will include:
Outbound Logistics Management:
Taking ownership of the outbound trunk vehicles by planning, allocating, and processing all freight, ensuring customer and company objectives are met.
Network Compliance:
Maintaining full compliance with the Pallet Network Operations Manual through meticulous administration, order entry, scanning, and accurate record-keeping.
Driver & Customer Liaison:
Being the primary point of contact for the outbound Pallet Network operation. Greeting our Night Trunk drivers, allocating their keys and manifests,
Essential Administration:
Handling all transport documentation, generating labels/tickets, accurate computer input of job details, and providing support to the wider Customer Services team.

Essential Experience & Skills:
Proven administrative experience.
Demonstrable customer service experience.
Excellent computer skills and attention to detail.
The ability to work accurately under pressure in a fast-moving office.
A valid Driving Licence (required due to location/travel needs).
Fluent English (verbal and written).
