Are you passionate about delivering exceptional palliative care and supporting patients and families when they need it most?

Dougie Mac is looking for a skilled and compassionate

Adviceline and Rapid Response Practitioner

to join our Community Hub team.

About the Role



Provide

specialist palliative advice

and guidance to patients, families, and healthcare professionals. Work within our

Advice Line and Rapid Response Service

, delivering urgent support to help manage complex symptoms, psychological, spiritual, and social needs. Collaborate with colleagues across hospice and community services to reduce unnecessary hospital admissions and honour patients' care preferences. Develop professionally with

structured training, supervision, and funded opportunities

for further qualifications.

What We're Looking For



Registered Nurse or HCPC-registered Practitioner

with at least

3 years post-registration experience

. Strong knowledge of

palliative care

and the ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with confidence to provide clinical leadership. Flexibility to work shifts as part of our

24/7 responsive service

. A valid driving licence and access to a suitable vehicle. Permanent and temporary opportunities available

37.5 hours a week (Over 7 days a week. 7am - midnight, mixed shifts)
