About the Role
Chadwell Healthcare Ltd is seeking a highly organised and committed
Panel Administrator
to support
Cardiff Children's Services
on a newly created project aimed at improving decision-making processes and achieving better outcomes for children and young people.
This role plays a vital part in ensuring permanence is achieved without unnecessary delay.
You will work within a small, supportive team, under the guidance of a supervisor, helping to deliver the project from early development through to full implementation.
Key Responsibilities
Provide high-quality administrative support to the project team.
Take clear, accurate minutes during meetings and produce action points promptly.
Track, update, and follow up on actions to ensure deadlines are met.
Coordinate communications between multiple professionals, agencies, and services.
Manage competing demands and prioritise workloads under pressure.
Maintain organised project documentation and records.
Support project delivery from planning to implementation.
Assist in problem-solving and facilitating effective communication across teams.
Essential Requirements
Proven experience in an administrative role (public sector, social care or project environment desirable).
Strong minute-taking and meeting-support skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work under pressure and manage conflicting priorities.
Strong organisational and time-management skills.
Competent in MS Office and general IT systems.
Ability to work collaboratively within a small team.
Problem-solving skills and the ability to negotiate solutions with partners.
Training & Support
You will receive full training and ongoing coaching to help you transition your existing skills to meet the needs of the project.
