PANEL WIRER


JOB PURPOSE:

Working as part of a team to wire electrical control panels and equipment from detailed engineering drawings.

Reporting to Manufacturing Manager



HOURS:

07:45 - 17:00 Mon to Thurs

07:30 - 12:30 Fri

40 Hours per Week

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Construction of control panels and equipment following engineering drawings. Support System build and Sub Assembly with any electrical work required. Ability to work as part of a team but also on own initiative. To be able to prioritise and work to given timescales. To adhere to the company policies and procedures. To ensure quality standards are met.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

Hands-on experience of electrical equipment and control panel building. Ability to read and understand schematic drawings. Ability to complete electrical testing and inspection. Demonstrate a good working knowledge of using various hand tools. Have sound knowledge of manufacturing processes.
QUALIFICATIONS:

City & Guilds Electrical qualification / 18th Edition Electrical qualification preferable.
KEY ATTRIBUTES:

Self-motivated and able to use initiative in prioritising tasks. Keen to accept responsibility and accountability. Professional manner, able to represent the company to a high standard. Good communication skills. Self-driven for progressive and continued learning and development. Basic tool kit required, supplemented by company tool allowance scheme.

Pay: 29,000.00-32,000.00 per year
