As a growing business we have an exciting opportunity for a wiring technician to join our team on a full-time basis. Our team of wiring technicians and prototype wiring technicians are a vital and highly skilled part of the team here at Peak, they regularly undergo training and development and have constant support from our wiring shop manager, electrical design engineers and directors. The solutions we produce vary from job to job, meaning the position is very interesting and allows our wiring technicians to learn and improve their skills every day.

The right candidate will be able to:

Read and understand electrical drawings.

Assemble parts to drawings with accuracy.

Solder, crimp (various types of hand crimping) and measure accurately.

Assemble wire harnesses.

Work in compliance with health & safety policies and procedures.

Work to IPC standard.

Fault find on cable harnesses.

Complete panel wiring to an excellent standard.

The right candidate will possess the following skills:

Excellent attention to detail.

A flexible and adaptable approach.

A positive "can-do" attitude.

Reliable and conscientious.

Able to work under own initiative and as part of a team.

IPC 620 qualification would be preferred, but training can be provided.

Having a qualification in electrical engineering would be preferred but not essential.
