Overview

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Panini Maker to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating delicious paninis and a strong understanding of food preparation techniques. This role requires a blend of creativity and technical skills to assemble high-quality sandwiches that delight our customers.

Responsibilities

Prepare and assemble paninis using fresh ingredients, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met. Operate various kitchen equipment, including grills and presses, to cook paninis to perfection. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area, adhering to health and safety regulations. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of ingredients and supplies. Follow recipes accurately while also contributing ideas for new menu items or specials. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons and responding to their requests or feedback.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a kitchen or food preparation environment is preferred. Strong fabrication and assembly skills, particularly in food presentation. Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in food preparation is advantageous. Familiarity with carpentry, joinery, roofing, plumbing, masonry, electrical experience, or construction painting can be beneficial but is not mandatory. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required in the kitchen setting. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
