We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations, ensuring timely and safe delivery. Duties

Safely operate delivery vehicles, including vans and other commercial vehicles. Load and unload goods from the vehicle, ensuring all items are secure during transit. Navigate routes efficiently to meet delivery schedules while adhering to traffic regulations. Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery status and any potential issues. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and any discrepancies. Conduct routine checks on the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition, reporting any maintenance needs promptly. Assist in warehouse operations as required, including inventory management and organisation of stock.

Requirements

Valid driving licence with a clean driving record; experience in commercial driving is preferred. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during loading and unloading processes. Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is advantageous but not essential. Familiarity with local roads and routes is beneficial. A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
