Your opportunity
We're currently looking for a Paper Servicer at our Huhtamaki Site in Gosport, United Kingdom and you should be within reasonable commuting distance from here. You will be working on B shift pattern.
What you'll be doing
Deliver materials to the Paper Production Areas using the motorised truck.
Assist in the Paper Production Areas with job change overs.
Weigh and record waste when needed.
Record information on relevant computer systems when requesting stock from Warehouse.
Fit core plugs and move product to designated Kan Ban in warehouse using "V" truck.
Collect and return materials to the Warehouse department.
Complete hygiene duties if and when required.
Remove and weigh waste bins from the Paper Production Areas.
Maintain good housekeeping within all areas of Paper Production.
Continually support development of Standard Operating Procedures and ensure adherence.
Receive up-skilling from other team members.
Assist with management of materials to achieve departmental targets.
Maintain safe working practices.
Continually monitor stock levels of all Paper Cup materials, making sure minimum quantities are kept on site.
To assist in cup forming production when required in line with business needs
What you'll bring to the role
Working within a manufacturing/production environment with targets and objectives to meet.
Shift Working
GCSE level education or equivalent standard
Mechanical aptitude.
Worked with special purpose machinery
PC Literate
Good colour vision (tested via colour vision test)
Target driven
Flexible approach to work & tasks undertaken
Good communication skills, verbal & written
Capable of building and maintaining good working relationships.
Willing to develop further within role.
