We are looking for an energetic, confident, hardworking, and positive office administrator/clerk within our busy high street law firm. The candidate must be willing to travel to and work from our Watford and Barnet offices. The work will include:
Making and receiving telephone calls
Preparing precise attendance notes
Filing
Locating and retrieving files
Document management
Photocopying
Stationary orders
Making tea and coffee
Opening and allocating post
Posting letters
Sending emails
Updating social media i.e., LinkedIn and Facebook
Greeting clients and taking copies of their documents
Progressive candidates will have the opportunity to work on client files under the supervision of a Partner within the firm.
Desired skills
Due to the Apprenticeship criteria candidates with LLB would not be eligible for this position
Local viable commute essential
4-9 grades English and maths GCSE's
Confident with excellent communication skills.
Ability to multitask and manage reception in conjunction with other administration duties
Good attention to detail
Good working knowledge of ICT packages including Word, Excel and Outlook.
Ability to demonstrate or gain a clear understanding of the firm's in-house systems where training will be given

You will complete the Paralegal Apprenticeship
This Apprenticeship will involve off the job training.
You will also develop your knowledge, skills and behaviours.
You need to have an employer to support your Apprenticeship and be employed in a relevant job role.
The typical length of this Apprenticeship course is 18 months.
