We specialise in M&A, business succession planning, start-up and growth finance, demergers and reorganisations, joint ventures, and other complex corporate transactions for private companies.

Paralegal - Birmingham (Hybrid):

We're currently seeking a Paralegal to join our Birmingham office on a hybrid working basis.

What you'll be doing:

You'll be a key part of our corporate team, getting hands-on experience from day one. Your responsibilities will include:

Supporting legal due diligence - preparing enquiries, reviewing documents and managing virtual data rooms Drafting and reviewing legal documents, including corporate authorisations and other ancillary documents Owning and managing document lists for deals, reorganisations and demergers Preparing and submitting filings to Companies House and other registries accurately and on time Producing clear reports, memos, letters and presentations using Word, Excel and PowerPoint Carrying out targeted legal research using trusted databases and platforms Staying on top of KYC, compliance and file management in line with regulatory standards

What we're looking for:

We'd love to hear from people who: Have paralegal experience in a corporate law firm Understand corporate transactions and legal documentation Are comfortable working with legal research tools and document management systems Know their way around Microsoft Office (especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint) Have excellent written and verbal communication skills Take pride in delivering high-quality work Are proactive, organised and enjoy taking ownership Have a sharp eye for detail and a genuine drive to learn
