The Role



We are looking for a committed and compassionate Paralegal to join our Child Abuse Department. This is a challenging and highly sensitive area of law that demands empathy, resilience, and the ability to handle complex and emotionally charged cases with care and professionalism. You will play a vital role in supporting Directors and Fee Earners in progressing client matters.

Key Responsibilities:



Provide assistance to Directors and Fee Earners with case management, research, and administrative support. Attend court hearings and client meetings, take detailed notes, and prepare case summaries. Carry out litigation preparation tasks, including document review and filing. Handle telephone enquiries, liaise with clients, and coordinate with other professionals. Maintain confidentiality and uphold the highest standards of client care. Accurately record work completed and comply with all training requirements.

Working Arrangements



This role is based out of our Wakefield office, with the option for hybrid working in line with business needs. Due to the nature of the work, a flexible and responsive approach is essential.
