The role:


Paralegal - CLO Specialist working as part of an award-winning and fun Trans-Atlantic team. Long-term career progression available for the right candidate.

The CLO Specialist / Paralegal will support the legal teams in managing and administering collateralised loan obligations. This role involves handling legal documentation, ensuring regulatory compliance, and providing administrative support for CLO transactions.

Hours:


9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. with flexibility in accordance with the needs of the business.
Our current working from home policy allows for two days working from home, subject to business need. This policy is subject to change and does not form part of contractual terms.
Responsibilities:
Prepare, review, and manage CLO and securitisation transaction documentation, offering circulars and legal opinions; Coordinate with the transaction parties, including arrangers, collateral managers, trustees, and rating agencies, to facilitate CLO transactions. Processing comments on transaction documentation; General transaction management and assistance; excellent opportunities for ongoing client contact; Excellent opportunities for ongoing client contact; Closing and post-closing support; CLO market research.

Qualifications:
Educated to degree level or equivalent, ideally in Law. Proven relevant experience working in a similar role, strongly preferred.

Experience, skills and personal attributes:



Prior experience within a law firm or research firm with strong knowledge of CLO or securitisation documentation preferred but open to applicants with a keen enthusiasm to develop their knowledge of CLOs within a supportive environment. We would also consider law school graduates with exceptional academics who have limited prior law firm experience. Ability to analyse complex financial and legal information Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills (these are the two key attributes for the role). Able to manage various priorities simultaneously in a high-volume and fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office products required. Strong communication and inter-personal skills with the ability to deal with clients and other key stakeholders; Enjoys working as part of a team Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Self-motivated and pro-active.
