. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a keen interest in corporate law and company secretarial work to gain hands-on experience. Whether you're just starting out or looking to deepen your knowledge, we want to hear from you.
The role
This is a varied and engaging role that goes beyond administrative support. As a Paralegal in our Corporate team, you'll work closely with experienced solicitors on a range of matters, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, and company secretarial services. You'll be involved in real client work from day one, contributing meaningfully to the delivery of high-quality legal services.
You'll be trusted with real responsibility, but also fully supported by experienced professionals who want to see you succeed. Expect a role that's fast-paced, client-focused, and full of opportunities to learn and grow.
Key tasks will include
Preparing legal documents, letters, reports, and ancillary corporate documents such as board minutes and shareholder resolutions.
Managing files from opening through to closure, including post-completion filings and document archiving.
Supporting solicitors with case preparation, ongoing file management, and corporate transactions.
Assisting the team on M&A transactions, including due diligence and data room management.
Providing general support to the commercial layers working within the associated commercial team.

Reporting to the team on developments under the Economic Crime and Corporate Transparency Act (ECCTA).
Communicating with clients in person, by phone, and in writing in a professional and empathetic manner.
Organising diaries, appointments, and meetings to support the smooth running of the team.
Required experience, skills and attributes
We're looking for applicants with a strong academic foundation and a real appetite for learning. You'll already have a legal qualification - typically a Law degree or post-graduate legal course - but just as important is your mindset and approach to working in a professional team.
Here's what we'd love you to bring to the table

You're someone who takes initiative, manages your own time well and isn't afraid to ask questions or take on new challenges.
Attention to detail:
You understand that in legal work, precision matters and you take pride in getting the small things right.
Organisation skills:
You can juggle tasks and prioritise effectively, keeping on top of deadlines and knowing when to ask for support.
Strong communication:
You're confident in speaking and writing, and comfortable dealing with clients in a professional and empathetic way.
Team player attitude:
You enjoy collaborating with others, supporting colleagues, and contributing to a positive working environment.
Relevant experience (desirable but not essential):
If you've worked in a law firm, or in a professional services setting, you'll be able to hit the ground running - but full training and support will be provided.
