About the role....





You will have a good knowledge of different areas of litigation, within the team we carry out work for children's social service, adult social services, education, employment and criminal prosecutions. In this role you will be concentrating on children's services and education but may be asked to assist in other areas.



This is a job which requires excellent drafting skills as you will be assisting and supporting the solicitors in their roles as well as directly advising the client. You will be providing legal advice on the Council's obligations regarding children including public and private law proceedings discharge of care orders as well as assisting the solicitor in education appeals made to the Council. For this role we would like you to have keen legal judgment and an ability to work on difficult cases with a problem-solving approach.
