DWF's Insurance team in Scotland is looking to recruit experienced Paralegal's to work in our award-winning insurance team.


The successful applicants will act for household name insurers and provide high quality advice on defending a wide range of pre-litigation personal injury claims.


The role can be based from either of our Edinburgh or Glasgow offices.


Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for managing a diverse caseload for insurers pre-litigated and litigated claims, from inception to resolution. Duties will include conducting thorough investigations, including gathering evidence and interviewing witnesses. A key part of the role will also involve conducting research to support legal strategies and case development.

Previous Paralegal experience of 6+ months is

ESSENTIAL

for this role. Experience in the following areas will be considered - fraud, motor, road traffic accidents (RTA), personal injury, serious, injury, large loss, complex loss, catastrophic loss, EL/PL, credit fraud, recoveries, etc. Experience in litigation would be an advantage. Strong communication skills. High attention to detail. Experience of working in a fast paced environment with a volume of claims.
