The successful applicant will be assigned to work with Fee Earners within a team in an open plan and flexible environment. The role involves working on the defence of high value litigated motor and EL/ PL cases on behalf of a wide range of Insurance clients, working on personal injury claims. They will be responsible for undertaking individual fee earning tasks on cases for and in support of senior Fee Earner (s).

Key Responsibilities

The work handled by the successful applicant will include the following:Assisting with a case load of high value pre and post-litigation defender files Adhering to court deadlines and assisting with managing files in accordance with court timetables Instructing experts Instructing and working with Counsel Carrying out detailed reviews of medical records Liaising with clients/other insurers/third parties Liaising with policyholders and witnesses Drafting pleadings/court documents Assisting other fee earners with their case loads Any other tasks as they arise to efficiently run their caseload
