Our Industrial Deafness Team is growing, and we're now seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our dynamic department.

The Role



As a Paralegal within the Industrial Deafness Team, you will assist solicitors and case handlers with managing claims from initial instruction through to settlement. You'll be responsible for supporting case preparation, client communication, document management, and ensuring that all matters progress efficiently and in line with company and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:



Assist with the day-to-day management of industrial deafness claims. Draft legal documents, witness statements, and correspondence under supervision. Liaise with clients, medical experts, and third parties in relation to evidence and reports. Obtain and review medical and employment records. Update and maintain accurate case information on the firm's case management system. Manage deadlines and ensure cases progress efficiently. Conduct legal research relevant to industrial disease and personal injury claims. Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal policies, including data protection and SRA guidelines.

About You:



Previous experience working as a Paralegal, Legal Assistant, or Case Handler within personal injury or industrial disease law is preferred. Strong organisational and communication skills. High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple files simultaneously. A professional and empathetic approach to client care. Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal case management systems. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
