Job Description

We are looking for a bright, motivated and highly organised paralegal to join our growing legal team in London. The successful candidate will assist in progressing multi-claimant legal actions, in some cases involving thousands of individual claimants. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on litigation experience in a dynamic, claimant-focused environment. You will support a wide range of litigation tasks, from legal drafting and document management to legal research and data coordination.



We are looking for individuals who are detail-oriented, proactive and confident handling large-scale litigation processes. Strong communication skills, a calm and professional manner, as well as the ability to work well under pressure are essential.

Required attributes




Meticulous attention to detail, particularly when handling large volumes of claimant and case data. Excellent organisation skills with the ability to prioritise, multi-task and manage competing deadlines under pressure. Proactive mindset: able to implement and improve internal systems and processes. Strong written and verbal communication skills, suitable for internal and external correspondence. Excellent legal research skills. Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and a professional manner. Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel (including use of filters or data sorting for claims analysis). Sound problem-solving and critical thinking abilities, with a practical, solutions-oriented approach. Ability to work collaboratively within a small, fast-paced legal team in the London office and to liaise effectively across the global team. Law degree or GDL (2.1 or above). Completed the LPC, SQE or similar qualification.

Preferred attributes




Prior experience as a paralegal or trainee solicitor, ideally within civil, commercial or group litigation practice. Familiarity with the electronic court filing system and court procedure. Experience working with high-volume or group litigation claims, including work involving large data sets or claimant cohorts.

Responsibilities (Day-to-Day)




Drafting, formatting and preparing legal documentation including court forms and correspondence for submission to courts and regulatory bodies. Using the court's e-filing system to file court documents. Conducting legal research on case law, procedural developments and regulatory guidance. Managing internal documents and tracking correspondence with other claimant law firms, defendants and other interested parties. Supporting data handling and data analysis across large volumes of claimants (including reviewing client database entries and assisting with de-duplication processes). Maintaining clear and accurate records in the firm's case management systems. Monitoring and ensuring compliance with court deadlines and procedural requirements. Liaising with internal teams (including the client-facing support team) to address client queries, resolve documentation or information issues and facilitate alignment of internal processes. Preparing court bundles and documentation for key meetings. Managing the logistics of instructing counsel or experts. Liaising with accounts to verify bank details and settle invoices. Collating claimant data for settlement calculations. Producing internal reports for fee earners on claim progress, claim metrics and settlement tracking.
