Location:

Central London (Holborn)


Working hours:

35 hours per week


Working pattern:

Monday to Friday, 9am 5pm (some flexibility available)


Flexibility:

This role has a general expectation of 4 days in office





Salary:

Circa 27K per annum

The Opportunity



As part of our Legal Services function, you will be an integral to supporting our practising solicitors and case assistants with their caseloads in order to ensure a first-class service to our members.


As you develop in your role we will assign you with your own small caseload of lower value claims, ensuring that you have the supervision and support to succeed


This role is perfect for candidates who have recently graduated and looking for their first professional role, or for more experienced paralegals who are looking to make the transition into clinical negligence law.


What you will bring




We are on the lookout for candidates who can evidence an ability to effectively:


Assist in the management of pre-litigation claims manage litigated civil claims under supervision manage regulatory/advice claims under supervision manage coronial claims under supervision provide paralegal support to practising colleagues

Attention to detail:

Highly organised, with experience of writing and drafting reports and legal documents


Good Stakeholder Management:

Comfortable engaging with stakeholders at different levels across our business


Effective communicator:

both written and verbally with good negotiation skills


Independent and collaborative:

Comfortable working both on your own and as part of a team while managing a varied workload.


Ambitious and Motivated:

with a strong desire for career growth and development
