& Summary:

We are an established education consultancy and IAA-regulated immigration advisory firm. We are recruiting a Paralegal to support our compliance and legal services. The successful candidate will work closely with senior education consultants and advisers to ensure adherence to university, immigration, and Home Office requirements. The role includes legal research, document drafting, compliance monitoring, case preparation, and providing direct support to clients and caseworkers.

Salary:

41,700 per annum

Entry Requirements:

Law degree/graduate (LLB or equivalent) Knowledge and understanding of UK law, particularly in relation to education and compliance Experience in a regulatory and compliance environment or within the immigration law sector (preferred) Excellent research, drafting, and organisational skills Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook); familiarity with legal IT systems advantageous

Key Tasks:

Ensure compliance with Home Office guidance, university regulations, and relevant legislation Conduct legal research and prepare reports, case notes, and supporting documentation Draft and review legal documents in line with higher education and immigration law requirements, including contracts, forms, and correspondence Organise and maintain accurate compliance and case management records Assist in the preparation of case bundles, hearings, and client documentation Liaise with clients, universities, and regulatory bodies under the supervision of senior advisers Provide day-to-day legal and administrative support to the advisory team
