What the job involves:
As a Conveyancing Paralegal, you'll assist our lawyers in managing client matters from start to finish, including:
Handling property transactions--sales, purchases, re-mortgages, leasehold, freehold, shared ownership, new builds, and unregistered titles.
Preparing and reviewing contracts, searches, and reports.
Liaising with clients, third parties, and lenders with professionalism and care.
Supporting post-completion work, including SDLT submissions and registrations.
Ensuring full compliance with SRA, Lexcel, and other regulatory standards.
Developing your skills with gradual progression toward managing a small caseload under supervision.
What you need:
6-12 months of experience in residential conveyancing administration or paralegal work.
An understanding of the conveyancing process from start to finish.
Excellent organisation, accuracy, and communication skills.
A passion for outstanding client care and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
IT confidence with case management systems, Land Registry portal, and Microsoft Office.
Whilst not essential, knowledge of new build or plot sales and qualifications or studies in property law would be advantageous.
