We're working with a well-established, full-service commercial law firm. Due to continued growth, the firm is now seeking a Planning Paralegal to join its busy Real Estate & Projects team in their London office.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated paralegal with previous planning law exposure to work on high-quality matters and develop long-term expertise in a supportive environment. You'll take on a mix of technical planning work, including agreements and development-related matters, with real scope to get involved in BD initiatives and client-facing activity.
Key Responsibilities:
Carrying out planning due diligence for buyers, sellers, funders, and developers
Drafting planning due diligence reports and replies in Certificates of Title
Drafting and negotiating section 106 agreements
Drafting and negotiating section 278 and section 38 agreements
Drafting planning clauses in contracts conditional on planning consent
Drafting planning warranties and indemnities in contracts and option agreements
Drafting environmental warranties and indemnities in contracts and option agreements
Supporting team members and contributing to client development and internal training
What we're looking for:
Previous experience in planning law is
Essential
(ideally gained in a property or development-focused team)
Ability to commute to London city centre 2 days a week (3 during probation)
