Our Legal and Business Integrity team are looking for an experienced Paralegal - Risk & Compliance to join the team on a 12 month FTC.
The primary focus of the role is to assist in the delivery of Enterprise Risk Management across the organisation, helping to ensure that relevant risks and controls are accurately identified, assessed, captured and proactively managed in Baringa's enterprise risk management system.
What you will be doing

• Management of Baringa's ERM system (Riskonnect)
• Liaising with risk champions across all Business Sectors and Baringa Enablement to continually review, update, recommend and amend risks
• Produce ERM management reports, data analysis
• Support the Risk & Compliance team in carrying out risk assessments covering Baringa's operations, clients and third parties
• Assist in the execution and delivery of strategic projects to enhance the company's risk and compliance culture
• Support the development of Baringa's ERM governance e.g. reviews of ERM risk scoring methodology, consistency of application across the organization, conduct reviews and provide recommendations on enhancements
• Support the Compliance team in the implementation of the Baringa compliance framework, and development of new compliance programs

Your skills and experience

• Legal, risk management and/or compliance experience preferred.
• Excellent written and oral communication, including presenting technical risk information in clear, meaningful language.
• Problem solving, critical thinking and analytical skills.
• Experience of working collaboratively with stakeholders at different levels.
• Demonstrated ability to identify risks associated with business processes, operations, and technology projects.
• Project management experience.
• Desirable - Risk management or compliance qualification.
• Knowledge of risk management systems.
• Experience working in a consultancy and/or partnership.
