Paralegal - Real Estate and Plot Sales

W&P Partners is a leading recruitment consultancy dedicated to connecting top legal talent with prestigious law firms and organisations. We are currently seeking a highly skilled Paralegal with a strong background in real estate and plot sales to join a dynamic legal team based in Tonbridge.

Role Overview:

As a Paralegal specialising in real estate and plot sales, you will play a crucial role in supporting the legal team with a variety of tasks related to property transactions. This position requires a meticulous and proactive individual with a deep understanding of the legal processes involved in real estate and plot sales.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist solicitors and legal executives with all aspects of residential and commercial real estate transactions, including sales, purchases, and leases. Manage a caseload of plot sales transactions from instruction through to post-completion. Conduct title investigations and prepare reports on title. Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, transfer deeds, and lease agreements. Liaise with clients, developers, estate agents, and other third parties to ensure smooth and timely transactions. Perform due diligence, including reviewing planning permissions, building regulations, and other relevant documentation. Handle pre-completion and post-completion formalities, including Stamp Duty Land Tax returns and Land Registry applications. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and case management systems. Provide administrative support to the legal team, including file management, scheduling, and correspondence.

Qualifications and Experience:

A minimum of 1 years of experience as a Paralegal with a focus on real estate and plot sales. Comprehensive understanding of property law, conveyancing processes, and plot sales transactions. Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-focused approach. Proficiency in legal research and drafting. Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in work. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
