About the role:





We're looking for a technically proficient

Paraplanner

to support one of our most experienced Associate Directors in our Fareham office. This is a key role in a high-performing team, focused on delivering outstanding technical support and enabling high-quality financial planning for high-net-worth clients. For this role, you will need to be office based 3 days per week.



You'll be responsible for research, cashflow modelling, and suitability report writing, helping to ensure that every piece of advice is compliant, tailored, and aligned with the client's long-term goals. Working closely with the Associate Director, you'll play a central part in maintaining an exceptional client experience through the strength and accuracy of your work.

About you:





You're an experienced paraplanner who takes pride in your technical knowledge, precision, and ability to make a meaningful difference through high-quality planning support. You're confident in your ability to research and craft bespoke advice solutions and are always looking for ways to deepen your expertise.



You're comfortable working closely with senior planners and support teams, and you thrive in a role where the quality of your technical input directly contributes to great outcomes for clients.

Key Responsibilities include:





Provide high-quality technical support, including research, cashflow modelling, and report writing Prepare compliant, technically robust suitability reports tailored to each client's goals Assist in the development and maintenance of personalised financial plans Carry out in-depth analysis across pensions, investments, tax, and estate planning Ensure all client documentation and records are accurate, up to date, and FCA-compliant Work collaboratively with administrators and wider colleagues to ensure a seamless client experience



Essential skills and experience:





Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (DipPFS or equivalent) Strong experience in a paraplanning or technical financial planning role Excellent technical knowledge across pensions, investments, and protection High attention to detail, with strong written and verbal communication skills Proactive, organised, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team



Desirable skills and experience:





Progress towards Chartered status (or intention to start) Experience using cashflow modelling tools such as Voyant or CashCalc Familiarity with Intelligent Office or similar systems



Salary and benefits:





Negotiable depending on experience and qualifications.
