Job Overview



We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Paraplanner to join our financial services team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting two Independent Financial Advisers. This position is ideal for individuals with a strong background in financial planning and exceptional organisational skills. If desired, there would be potential for progression to an IFA role on completion of a diploma, subject to business needs.

Responsibilities



Prepare suitability letters and post-meeting review letters. Conducting analysis/research, to support financial recommendations and strategies. Cashflow modelling (currently use O&M). Maintain accurate records of client data and ensure all documentation is up to date. Provide excellent customer service by addressing client enquiries and concerns promptly. Utilise Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, to create documents, spreadsheets, and manage communications effectively.
Skills

Strong report writing skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely. Excellent analytical skills to assess financial data. Knowledge of financial services and an understanding of financial planning principles. Communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with clients and colleagues. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook. IT skills to navigate various software applications relevant to the role. Previous administrative experience within financial services is essential.
25 days annual leave, plus bank holidays.

Annual bonus derived from a combination of company and individual performances.

Work from home 1-2 days a week considered after probation period.
