We're looking for a skilled Paraplanner to support our financial planners in delivering exceptional financial planning and investment strategies.

What You'll Do



Assist planners in creating tailored financial plans and investment strategies. Support planners in meetings with clients and prospects Conduct research on investment products, market trends, and planning solutions. Prepare client reports, presentations, and meeting materials. Review and update plans in line with clients evolving objectives and market changes Manage client communications and maintain accurate records. Collaborate with the team to ensure seamless service and workflow. Ensure adherence to regulatory compliance and internal policies Provide training and guidance to junior team members

What We're Looking For



Diploma in Financial Planning (or working towards). Minimum 2 years' para-planning or financial advisory experience. Strong knowledge of investment products, markets, and planning concepts. Proficiency with financial planning software and sector platforms (MorningStar, Transact, O&M, and IRESS Exchange) Excellent interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to manage priorities and deliver with accuracy.

We are just completing an exercise to digitise the firm's operational systems using the Zoho One platform, and the successful applicant will be expected to be fully involved in its implementation.

What We Offer



Sponsored training up to Chartered Financial Planner level.

Competitive salary (37,000-47,000 per annum). Full-time, permanent, office based role. Professional development and qualification support. Collaborative and supportive team environment. Modern ground floor office in Shrewsbury, Shropshire. Monday to Thursday (8.45am until 5.30pm) Friday (8.45am until 1.15pm) Holidays: 22 days plus statutory holidays Pension. Free on-site parking.
