We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently and safely to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining excellent customer service. Responsibilities

Safely operate delivery vehicles, including lorries and vans, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to ensure timely arrival at destinations. Load and unload goods, often requiring heavy lifting, with attention to safety procedures. Communicate effectively with clients upon delivery, providing excellent customer service. Complete all necessary paperwork accurately, including delivery notes and logs. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly. Assist in warehouse activities as needed, including inventory management and stock organisation.

Experience

Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar commercial driving role. Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record; specific driver qualification is advantageous. Experience with warehouse operations or logistics is desirable. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently. Strong communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members. Familiarity with local routes and traffic patterns is preferred but not essential.
