We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently and safely to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries. Responsibilities

Safely operate company vehicles, including vans and lorries, to deliver goods to clients and customers. Plan delivery routes effectively to optimise time and fuel efficiency. Load and unload items, often involving heavy lifting, with care and attention to safety procedures. Communicate clearly with clients regarding delivery times and any potential delays. Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly. Adhere to all traffic laws and health & safety regulations during deliveries.

Experience

Proven experience as a delivery driver or in commercial driving roles. Valid driver's licence appropriate for the vehicle type, with a clean driving record. Experience working in warehouse environments or handling heavy loads is advantageous. Strong communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members. Familiarity with route planning software or GPS navigation tools is preferred. This role is ideal for candidates with solid driving experience who are organised, dependable, and capable of handling physical tasks associated with heavy lifting.
